OUR STORY

The story of how we came to be is filled with tragedy, sadness, delay, hopes, dreams, and perseverance. While I will not focus on the sad things, it is important to our story, so here we go.

April 10, 2017, we received a call that my youngest brother had passed away while on vacation in Cambodia. My baby brother was only 26 years old. Jacob Matthew was the best of all the siblings. He was simply an amazing person. He graduated from high school with a cheerleading scholarship. He became a coach for UCA cheer camps and taught for almost eight years. He started co-ed cheerleading in high school and eventually went on to cheer during his college career at University of Memphis. He took part in World competitions winning the UCA World Championship in 2015. After college, he decided he wanted to become a flight attendant with Delta Airlines and he got the job, beating out thousands of other hopefuls. I told you he was amazing.

We decided to start our company Jacob Matthews LLC to honor my brother’s memory, and to give my mother an outlet for her devastating grief. We initially considered a completely different path for our company, but as we grew closer to making it a reality, my eldest sister Tanya passed away unexpectedly in 2019, Covid hit the world, and everything shut down. That meant our plans were shut down too. Even though it seemed like so much was against us, we never gave up our desire to do something. After all, my mother still needed it and I love to be my own boss.

So here we are today. We decided to create beautiful things to share with the world. It is the same concept my brother held dear to his heart. Jacob shared himself and his talents with everyone who crossed his path, so why shouldn’t we? While we are starting out small, I know that he and my sister are with us cheering us on, and that we will be successful in our goals to honor them both every single day. We strive to make them proud and hopefully make new friends along the way.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of wreaths by JM Creations By Rachael ("Seller") to the purchaser ("Buyer"). By placing an order with JM Creations By Rachael, the Buyer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Product Description

All wreaths sold by JM Creations By Rachael are described as decorative items. It is the Buyer's responsibility to ensure that the wreath is handled and displayed in accordance with the provided instructions. JM Creations By Rachael recommends that the wreaths not be exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time and should be protected from adverse weather conditions.

3. Sales and Returns

All sales made by JM Creations By Rachael are final. JM Creations By Rachael does not accept returns or exchanges. Once an order is placed and payment is received, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

4. Shipping

Shipping charges are the responsibility of the Buyer and will be calculated and added to the total purchase price during the checkout process. JM Creations By Rachael only ships to verified addresses within the 48 contiguous United States. Shipping times and methods may vary and will be communicated to the Buyer at the time of purchase.

5. Disclaimer of Liability

JM Creations By Rachael shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from the use or misuse of the purchased wreaths. The Buyer assumes all risks associated with the use of the product.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

7. Modifications

JM Creations By Rachael reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the JM Creations By Rachael website.
